A large uptick was detected in terms of both number of attacks and intensity since last update, a total of 13, significant events are as follows :

????Northern front in the Ituri province, 22 Christians were killed in an attack on the Mapendo village, the terrorists then retreated to their positions.

????In Kokola, Islamic State fighters clashed with a Congolese army foot patrol, killing and wounding a number of them while the rest fled.

????The insurgents also attacked a village near Beni, lit the houses on fire and captured 9 Christians.

????Again near Beni, Congolese soldiers were attacked and 2 of them got killed in the clashes by Islamic State fighters.

????In Idohu another 2 Congolese soldiers on motorcycles were wounded in an ambush by the militants.
