Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is a continuation of the 2018 hit that introduced us to the adventures of Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman, the King of Atlantis. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on December 20, 2023, and promises to be another spectacular journey into an underwater world full of magic and danger.

The trailer – which you can watch below – shows that Aquaman doesn’t have an easy life. The King of Atlantis will have to face many challenges, such as protecting his people from hostile factions, maintaining peace between the seven kingdoms, and raising his son. And the role of a father will not be easy.

To top it off, his royal blood is threatened by a mysterious villain who wields an ancient weapon. To save Atlantis and the world, Aquaman will have to form an unexpected alliance with King Orm (Patrick Wilson), who was the main antagonist of the first part. Will they be able to defeat their common enemy?

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is directed by James Wan, whose previous work includes Fast & Furious 7, The Conjuring and Saw. The film also stars Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta and Ben Affleck as Batman.
