The investigation of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) requires new scientific techniques, including advanced satellites. This was stated on Thursday by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in a report on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). TASR took over the report from the AP agency.

In a 33-page report, the NASA team pointed out that the negative perception of UFOs is an obstacle to data collection. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said his office wants to move the UAP debate “from sensationalism to science.” He added that the group of experts found no evidence of the extraterrestrial origin of the UAP.

NASA chief: Of course I believe in alien life in space

However, the head of NASA thinks that life could exist in space given its size. “Ak you ask me if I believe that there is life in a universe that is so vast that it is difficult for me to understand how big it is, my answer is yes,he stated.

When pressed by reporters whether the US government or other countries are harboring aliens or their spaceships, he replied:Show me the evidence.

NASA says they need better technology to find evidence of UFOs

NASA said it is not actively looking for unusual objects in the sky. However, it operates a fleet of spacecraft orbiting the Earth that can help determine, for example, whether the weather is behind an unexplained phenomenon.

The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration also announced that it had recently appointed a director of research into unidentified flying objects, but did not release his name for security reasons.

NASA experts noted in the report that artificial intelligence and machine learning are essential for identifying unusual occurrences, including UFOs. “NASA will make it transparent,” stated Nelson.

NASA: There is currently no conclusive evidence of UFOs

An independent team of experts from the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration this year claimed in the only public meeting so far that there is no convincing evidence of extraterrestrial life associated with UFOs, reminds AP.

The team, made up of scientists and aviation and artificial intelligence experts, works with available data in an attempt to explain unusual observations in the sky, but does not have access to secret documents.

NASA noted that there are very few high-quality UAP observational images, so no scientific conclusions can be drawn.
