Studio Bones’ upcoming new anime original has released a new trailer focusing on its heroines.
Next year, a new mech anime is set to hit the scene from the studio responsible for the likes of My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho 100And full Metal Alchemist to name a few. Metallic Rouge will focus on a universe that sees humanity attempting to co-exist with its mechanical creations as a murder mystery unfolds in the stars. Now, ahead of the arrival of the anime adaptation next year, Bones Production has released a new trailer that gives anime fans a better look at the series’ lead.
The two main characters in the series will be Rouge, an android who wears a suit of technologically advanced armor when needed, and her comrade Naomi, an agent of the “Department of Truth” who monitors android activity. Rouge will be voiced by actor Yume Miyamoto, who anime fans may know for his roles in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Star Wars: Vision, Godzilla: Singular Point, and Bochy the Rock! to name a few. Naomi, on the other hand, will be voiced by actor Tomoyo Kurosawa, who has voiced leading roles in anime Heavenly Delusion, Trigun Stampede, Cyberpunk: EdgerunnersAnd My Hero Academia,
Whereas metallic rouge Setting the stage for a deadly serious premise, it’s clear from the new trailer that not everything is serious for Rouge and Naomi on their journey. The two clearly have a hilarious relationship with each other, as the new trailer focuses on some back-and-forth between the android and his human companion. Set to arrive in January next year, Metallic Rouge will be simulcast on Crunchyroll, meaning anime fans won’t have to wait long for brand-new episodes arriving in 2024.
